Ride through Ceres to
Riebeek Kasteel
A meandering bike route on various interesting roads - like the R46. Here's a look at the motorbike ride we took to Ceres and back past Riebeek Kasteel.

This is a great restaurant to stop at. It is just beforeyou get the mountain pass going into Ceres. Cannot remember its name, but it is really nice.

This is a picture of one of my mates, Roberto. He is
arriving on his Fireblade for breakfast with the guys. He also owns an awesome Ducati 1098 with all the bells and whistles and gets involved with racing.

I just can't resist taking photos of all the bikes.

Sometimes we have as many as 20 guys going withfor the ride. Just great fun hooking up with your mates...

The same restaurant whose name I cannot remember. You can either sit on the patio or, as in this photo, you can sit at the pool. Normally in summer it is a lot nicer sitting by the pool.

This is a quaint little restaurant just outside ofRiebeek Kasteel on the back route to Malmesbury.

To the side of the restaurant they have a few tables andchairs nestled under huge shady trees. Just behind that you look onto the vineyards. Really great place to stop for a cold beer on a long ride. We have never eaten here, purely because we stop on route home.

Some of chaps' bikes just outside the restaurant.
Hope you enjoyed this ride! Regards, Wayne
